Jackie – Battery Park City

Jackie & I had some fun walking along the Esplanade in Battery Park City (my neighborhood!) Jackie is one of the captains of my rugby team. You wouldn’t think it to look at her, but she is one of the best tacklers ever 🙂

This is one of the first shots I took with my new 70-200 lens (aka one of those giant white Canon lenses!) I love the trees in the background:

She was a little nervous at first, so I made her lie down to relax 😉

The daffodils had just started to show themselves… it’s been a bleak winter and I am so glad to finally see a little bit of color!

I think she’s dreaming about making a really awesome tackle.

At the end of our shoot, I asked her to play around and try jumping. She definitely had the most fun with this shot! 🙂
